What's Been Up Since My Return From Spain

Let me just sum up on what I have been doing for this whole week and since I returned from my holiday in Spain. The main problem I was recovering from was simply jet lag and nothing else.

Last week, on Thursday, which was the day when I returned, I rested for the whole day and did not go out for a while. On Friday, I completed my CDS selection online, and these were the options which I have made:

1. Human Health and Diseases
2. Introduction to Psychology
3. Fundamentals of Public Speaking
4. Fundamentals of Management
5. Basics of Nutrition

When I saw the list of CDSes, my mind really blew off. I couldn't believe that the CDSes for selection this semester were far more limited than the previous semester, and I noticed there were no IT CDSes and a majority of the CDSes are Design CDSes. This has presented me with quite a difficult choice, as some of the CDSes which were up for selection last semester were not available this semester. This selection I made wasn't really much of a random selection, mostly because of interest. I selected Human Health and Diseases as I thought that it may sound somewhat interesting, and since my dad's a doc, I'm sure he would be able to lend a helping hand if I'm having trouble in this CDS. Anyway, on Saturday, I also kind of slacked at home, just only going out in the afternoon with my cousin Sufri to play King of Jurassic. I find playing that game kind of mundane already, and I need to do something better and more mature. It's not that I hate playing the game or whatever, it's just that I kind of get bored playing that game all the time, and I thought that if we do something better, then I would be a little more satisfied. Anyway, in the evening, dad to my sis and I went out to watch the movie Twilight.

The moment I saw this movie, I was really blown away.Twilight was simply such a good movie I felt like as if I really need to watch it again. The movie tells the story about a 17-year-old girl named Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), who moves from Phoenix, Arizona to settle in Forks, Washington, and finds her life in critical danger upon falling in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). This movie deviates from the stereotype of vampires, who are vulnerable to sliver, garlic and sunlight, whereas in the movie, they are open to these and are not affected by them. Whew, Edward Cullen is such a cool guy with supermodel good looks, whereas Bella Swan is quite pretty and as super-hot as a supermodel.

Anyway, moving on.

Well, this whole week has been somewhat a slack week for me, and I can't seem to be able to focus on school work much during the e-learning period. I have been continuously procrastinating in my mind over assignments and stuff, the reason to which I do not know why, and everyday I have been putting my mind of doing school work and maybe it's just because since it's the common holiday season, so everyone was still in the Christmas and New Year mood. The only assignment which I had to submit for the e-learning week is that for CMSK3, namely the report findings & discussion draft as well as the APA test practice paper. Fortunately, despite my lack of mood to fulfill assignments, I was able to complete both and submit them just on time, to be precise, on Wednesday, New Year's Eve, by about noon, which was lucky because by 1pm on that day, everything in school will be closed due to the New Year holiday. Following that, in the evening, I went out for a New Year's dinner with my family to my uncle's owned restaurant, which was actually not so far from home as I have realised. When I got home, I noticed that the New Year countdown was on Channel 5, which left me half interested half apathetic. Anyway, the following day was New Year's Day, in the morning, I went out with my family for breakfast, following which we went to see Bolt, the most recently released Disney movie. I find the movie to be quite good, with the voice talents of John Travolta as the titular character who is a dog, and Miley Cyrus as Penny, Bolt's owner.

The movie is about a dog having been accidentally taken away from it's owner and believes he has superpowers as well as that his owner is caught up in a real-life kidnapping plot, but turns out that he is an ordinary dog with no superpowers, and that his owner is actually in a movie. I find Bolt and the other characters to be quite cute, and the story itself is quite hilarious, LOL.

Other than that, the remaining days of e-learning were quite boring, just mostly spending my days at home, continuously multi-tasking with slacking on the Internet and doing assignments at the same time, which is what I often tend to do, LOL. I would only head out of the house out to town just to keep my mind relaxed, as well as to just simply look around, rather than sticking to the boredoms of home.

Other than that, this ends the post for now. I'm gonna have to start going back to school work already, now that school begins just tomorrow. Another stressful term lies ahead, but if I want to get over this term and proceed to second year, I am gonna have to work a little harder. Hopefully I'll pick up the pace when I start school again next week.

Other than that, this ends this post for now. Cheers.
